3 Mason Jar Christmas Gift Ideas

 

Did you know you can put almost anything in a jar and it will look adorable. They are awesome home made gift ideas They are great teachers, neighbors, and friends.

Hot Cocoa Mason Jar 

Here's what you'll need per 1 Pint Jar:

  • 1/2 Cup of Sugar
  • 4 Table spoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint or mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate Chips

 

Instructions

  • Add the layers in a 1 pint mason jar. Screw the lid on tight and decorate as desired.
To Prepare:
  • For individual servings, pour 1 cup whole milk (or your favorite milk alternative) into a microwave-safe mug, and microwave on high just until hot. Add 2 tablespoons of cocoa mix, and stir to dissolve. 
  • For a larger batch of cocoa, warm 1/2 gallon of the milk in a saucepan set over medium-low heat, taking care not to let the milk boil; as it warms, stir in 2 tablespoons of mix for each cup of milk.
Teacher Gift
  • Grab items your teacher would love. I chose gum, advil, hand sanitizer, chapstick and I threw in a gift card to her favorite store. Tie a bow and there you go. How Cute.
Santa Mason Jar 
  • Grab candy that's red or has a red wrapper and drop them in your mason jar. Take a piece of black ribbon and weave it throw a soda can top. This will make your buckle for Santa's suit. Use hot glue to secure the ribbon and you are done!
